Staff and pupils are rightly proud of their school.
You all work so hard and I love that I am able to volunteer and that my child attends such a wonderful school.
Pupils are supported to strive for excellence in everything that they do. They actively pursue the school’s values to be confident, resilient, ambitious, creative, considerate and healthy.
Every single student who came up was so polite and well mannered, greeting us with a cheerful hello, a please, and a thank you.
Pupils reach and exceed these expectations consistently. There is no ceiling on pupils’ learning.
...a real reminder of what a special community this school is.

Year 2 enjoyed cooking last week! They had a fantastic time making their own pasta salads as part of our Design and Technology curriculum. They explored key food preparation skills including: Chopping and slicing – developing fine motor control and learning how to use tools safely and effectively. Using a range of techniques such as peeling, chopping, slicing, grating, mixing. Combining ingredients – understanding how different textures and flavours work together. Planning and evaluating – making choices about ingredients and reflecting on what they liked about their creations. We're so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and growing independence in the kitchen

Pudsey Bears are all set for lunchtime fun today! A sweet way to celebrate a brilliant cause. Today our pupils are proudly wearing their spots and Pudsey accessories to support Children in Need. If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so via Arbor. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
On Armistice Day, our whole school community came together to mark the occasion with respect and reflection. Pupils from nursery through to Year 6 took part in a one-minute silence. We were pleased to welcome special guests, including veterans from the Royal British Legion, accompanied by their standard bearer. The poignant sounds of the Last Post and Reveille echoed across the school grounds, marking the solemnity of the occasion. Year 6 pupils read their own poems, inspired by In Flanders Field, and we were joined by our local councillor, members of Friends of Little Common, and the Reverand Frais who led a moment of reflection and shared words of peace and hope. Our Time Team were also on hand to capture the moment. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this important act of remembrance.
We were amazed and impressed by the incredible artwork on display at our recent Beyond the Book event. Pupils expressed their creativity in many ways, from painting and drawing to models and mixed media, all inspired by the books they've been reading. It was lovely to see how children brought stories to life; their passion for reading and creativity shone through every piece. Thank you to all our brilliant young artists who took part!
Thank you to our school community who generously donated to our Harvest collection for Bexhill and Battle Foodbanks. We collected an incredible 323.05kg!

We are thrilled with our new nursery! We were delighted to welcome our first children this week for their transition visit and they loved it too - they had lots of fun playing with all the new resources and some didn't want to leave so soon!
What a fantastic ending to an outstanding year. In our final assembly, these Year 6 pupils were awarded one of our six values trophies for displaying each of our school values throughout the year - resilient, considerate, healthy, confident, creative and ambitious. Well done team
